台聯 SNTU 764FC 系列，可稱之為乙太網路接取設備 (EAD)、乙太網路媒體資料轉換器 (MDC) 或乙太網路 DSL 調變解調器，它利用最新的 G.SHDSL.bis 標準，是一種能夠傳輸流量的迷你終端，從乙太網路接口透過 EFM 綁定 2/ 4/ 8 線 G.SHDSL.bis 鏈路，速度為 5.7/ 11.4/ 22.8Mbps。
SNTU 764FC 系列支援高速專用對稱資料傳輸並利用 DSL 頻寬，透過 2 線銅線，自動線路速率可達 15Mbps，SNTU 764FC 系列作為乙太網路延伸器，最多可支援 8 條線，可提高線路速率並提供超過 60Mbps 的聚合頻寬，此外，SNTU 764FC 系列是智慧乙太網路接取機箱 iEAC-16 的線路卡，作為 ISP 長途乙太網路接取服務的中心局，它彌補了 ADSL 和 VDSL 的缺點，提供點對多點的服務。
